when there is a door that is locked but it opens when someone fits the american-shaped hole next to it perfectly

they really just called it michael

This post feels extremely familiar to a post I saw a while ago. A quirky spin on wordle and some needlessly long AI-like text body. What’s going on? Has anyone else seen a different post that looks like this?

This isn’t the full story, but profiting from other people’s work is a common complaint found with AI that can also be compared to the content creation sphere. For instance, reposting many tiktok videos on discord without credit will not raise as many eyebrows as doing reaction content of compilations of tiktok videos on youtube (see, sssniperwolf vs jjjacksfilms), where the motive is “i found these funny and want my friends to see it” vs “i want to actively make money off these videos”.

It’s not unsubstantiated; It’s a very visible sudden shift in the same date range across multiple channels. I would also note the pay staying the exact same is definitely out of the ordinary. To answer your question, what I would rather is people learn to shut up when something is happening that they don’t care to look into any further, rather than act like the Reddit-like cesspool of confidently wrong people that just invent their own theories for things.

The most recent findings from Brodie Robertson were that the vieas to likes ratio skyrocketed, something that LTT also has confirmed on their side in the newer stream, and what seems like similar behavior in DarkviperAU’s channel. It seems that the likes are the same or higher, and the actual pay for the ads are basically the same, but the views are reduced. It’s as if views were the same but are being displayed lower than usual.
Not that most people here would care apparently, because the majority just wants to shit on Linus above actually having any worthwhile look into any of this stuff
Edit: Some direct links to said videos for whoever is interested

what are they trying to imply about me with that title
(i completely agree)

this is a certified ryuji persona 5 moment

why is there 0 response on the honey and billet labs thing, which is part of that same wan show? what’s with this half done response, why not show all the receipts? and also, why does he bring up a threat of legal action when there was no actual threat of legal action if you see that wan show?
this is such a disappointment, I’m apparently meant to watch as these two adults constantly miscommunicate, misunderstand and ignore half of what the other has said online, and stretch the back and forth even longer than it needs to. This will take like 5 wan shows and gn articles to conclude properly

that DMCA link is quite the thing
edit: to preserve context, there was previously a DMCA link in the footer. You can see it in archive http://web.archive.org/web/20240322163857/https://git.suyu.dev/suyu/suyu/

society would be much greater if the l4sbot didn’t just repeat the post title in the description including the sudden cut off
idk I don’t feel that way and could list many cool games, albums and videos from this and last year. I can only theorize that for others with that feeling it doesn’t help that AI is a thing, and separately if you are reliant on an algorithm and get lazy, it’ll give you slop and you won’t feel fulfilled
edit: misspell
