Not OC but I got a story.

So fun fact. The island I’m from? Chipmunks aren’t native here. They did introduce some to the island but they haven’t spread much beyond the area they were dropped off. So when I moved to Toronto, I got a bit of a surprise. I was sat in the backyard and felt something on my shoe. Look down and there’s just a lil chipmunk. Immediately I went “Awwwww!” and he bolted. I sat in that area of the backyard a lot and started buying some peanuts for the lil guy. After a couple months he would sit on my shoe and I could hand him down peanuts. So cute.

Same backyard I also saw my first snake as they are also not native to my island. Small grass snake but the scream that I scrumpt… Pretty sure it also screamed because I saw the mouth open wide before it turned and bolted.
