Hi!
This might be an unusual post. Certainly is my first time doing one like this. I’ll cut straight to the point.
I want clean and polished FOSS games for the F-Droid repository.
Looking for developers who want to contribute to open source but also want to claim this kind of bounty.
It isn’t much at all, but I have a $500 budget. I’m a college student with no more free time to do this myself. This is a goal I still want to see reached though.
The game(s) don’t have to be over complex. Just enough to hit that mobile game itch. Maybe I don’t know exactly what I want, but something is just missing from these F-Droid games.
If you even have a great mobile game idea, but needed money for assets or motivation.
All I need is a decent Godot developer. Whether you just want to help out the community, a high school student trying to find a gig, or both. Looking for anyone who can put some time into this.
REQUIREMENTS
- Godot Engine only
- AGPL Licensing

- Other?
Send an email if you’re interested, but I do want to have comments left here just for future reference.

Some questions to all F-Droid users here:
- What do you say on the current state of F-Droid games?
- What separates slop from a good mobile gaming experience?
- What games do you want to see on F-Droid?
My definition of a mobile game is quick and digestible. Something for an on-the-go and addicting experience.
Tell me your thoughts below. Am I overreaching? Am I underpaying? Should I just make this a game jam? I’m super sick right now so maybe my thoughts are clouded.

Wow, and you even went straight to “oh you’re weaponizing your disability” and “identity disorder”. Classic reddit tactics I see.
Dude, you’re in an environment with gangs of furries (raises paw), packs of therians (also raises paw), plenty of plural critters, and all sorts of other assorted varieties of queer people. Bold of you to assume that someone being the way they are – heck, their existence in the first place – is a “rare identity disorder” (speaking of, “identity disorder”? hello?? someone’s identity is by definition never a disorder) is “just putting it on for attention” or whatever. Which one of us has got shitty coping strategies here?

You ask for special accommodation for your disability and then you bristle when someone treats you as disabled. Get your head together.
I “went for it” because that’s what you did. You tried to weaponize your disorder. And now, consequentially, predictably, we are both engaged in an unhappy exchange.
Yes, identity can be disordered. I have a disordered identity. It’s not an excuse to be an ass. You can decide to whom that applies.
Unfortunately for you, you are not the first person to sign internet comments. There is a history and context that your comments are going to be interpreted against. That’s just fucking reality. Signing comments is always going to make strangers think that you are clueless. I cannot change that and getting angry with me for pointing it out is not going to make you feel any better.
If it’s so super important to you that you’re prepared to die on this hill, just use separate fucking accounts. Any modern browser will let you have colour coded tabs all logged in to the same site with different accounts. Why fucking expect us to do the mental labour of sorting your shit out.
