- Good to hear. - To save anyone from digging for more details – “making adjustments” was all the info that was given by a trusted source in a community message in their Discord.
- Good. I mean, who does this? You’re selling flight tickets before the plane is even built. At least wait until the game is released to gage if players even want a DLC. - Even still, you’ve shown your hand. Now players think that you were sectioning off development of certain aspects of a game to then later sell off for extra cash instead of focusing on releasing a fully built game. Terrible mistake. - You’re selling flight tickets before the plane is even built. - I’m pretty sure that’s actually happening in some cases. - With the state of the world rn, I wouldn’t be at all surprised if that was the case. - Hear me out: funding a plane on Kickstarter

- My plan was to buy it on release, but the moment I read they would release clans as DLC the game was dead to me. - I’ll check back in a year or two. Maybe then when everything is in one package. - Verbatim my thoughts as well. I dont even like either of the clans in the dlc, its the principle

- Paradox was a company I was looking for in the past. Now, they became a hard pass since, what… City skylines 2? Or something… - The never ending DLC abuses and the drop of Linux support on top of buggy releases (and DLCs) made me do a 180 degrees with them. - It’s kind of sad really. - They seems to fully turn the corner to oblivion with their handling of the debacle that was CS2. Just a failure from top to bottom. A far cry from the glory that original Cities:Skylines was. Now it’s just constant DLC’s that paywall basic mechanics. Surprised they haven’t made the games in monochrome and charge for DLC color packs.

- what is the future of this IP? i feel like Paradox has fumbled this at every turn. - Dead. Well, they’ve did a rebrand on an internal team back to the name white wolf, but a rebrand doesn’t mean anything. Maybe paradox will change going forward, but they seem to genuinely hate the WoD franchise so I’m not holding my breath. - oddly enough i think they actually love the IP, but are just legit terrible at managing it. maybe their ideas are just bad. XD - i’ll stick with Onyx Path. they should have just done that.
