I’m surprised you get many of us over in Canada. Spain definitely has the right to complain, it’s very cheap and easy to get there so our drunken scumbags descend on the country every summer by the millions. I specifically don’t bother going to Spain to avoid them myself.
I used to live in Halifax. We get lots of cruises from Europe, usually loaded to the gills with Brits.
