This is why it would be weird if it was due to silksong, because it would have done just fine even if the release was close.
Eh. To be honest, still playing Downfall. It’s got me pretty covered as far as StS goes. I cannot imagine much more from sts2, although I’d be happy to be surprised.
Also the boardgame rules.
Where did you buy the board game from? I’ve never heard of it. I love Slay the Spire
I got it from a local game shop.
The main difference of the board game is that it is coop. So while the single player experience is pretty faithful to the video game and well made, the multiplayer experience is the actual meat of it, and it is a lot of fun. Give it a try if you can.
I would imagine any large boardgame store would carry it or at least be able to order it in.
Last I checked, it was freely available on tabletop simulator
The board game based on the computer game that’s based on board games? 🤯
That’s just mechanics coming home :>
I guess you are referring to the likes of Dominion and so?
Deck building has been around since MTG but usually all that was done before a game started. Actually building the deck as you play? Donald X’s Dominion was the progenitor of that concept in modern deck building games.
If you’re itching to play something new while we wait for StS2, try the Shroom and Gloom demo. The game is incredible
