    Been there, quite nice. You need to keep track of the departure time of the last boat back, though, or you’ll be in trouble…

    EDIT: yes, with “boat” I meant the WaterBus to Rotterdam.

      With the boat inside the village we had no problem, took the last one back. But we found out that it is extremely unfortunately timed when you then want to take the waterbus back to Rotterdam. It had departed at 17:30, when the Kinderdijk boat just then arrived at the exit. So we had to wait 55 minutes for the next waterbus.

        So you must have been there in a better timeframe than we were. When we were there, the last Waterbus to Rotterdam left at 17:30, but we were lucky and got ferried over to civilization by a waterbus that officially was out of service, going back to the yard for the night.
