Yeah! Played this like a year ago with friends and completed just about everything. Going back soon to do a new run since it is 1.0.
Was not a big fan over the item sets in early access as it felt like you had to wear one of three sets depending on play style and less freedom about it than terraria for example. Hope that is better this time. But this is something I dislike with many games so maybe just me…
Necesse was pretty good in early access. I’ll have to check it out again
Just started playing it with friends. If you like Terraria and Minecraft, you will like this.
Great game. Very much a terraria analogue, but top down.
Terraria is a masterpiece with many, many more years of development so it’s not the most fair comparison if you want to say that it’s better than Necesse, which I think it is, but this gem is IMO 2nd place in whatever the “terraria” genre might be called.
How are the controller controls? Usually it’s menu stuff I wonder about when there are many things to do.
Been a bit since I played but I remember them being good, but iirc I still preferred mouse+keyboard when I was using ranged weapons, but that’s more because I suck with controllers than any weakness with the input method.
Take that with a grain of salt though because it really has been a while. I recommend you try it out.
