Okay, It was fun up until Deep Fissure then my machine started hiccuping a lot and the level became unplayable. May be my browser, but definitely not a hardware limitation. Curious if you have that experience on your end? I’m using Firefox.
Deep fissure has an increased level of detail to fix some visible holes in the geometry, so that level is more performance heavy than the other ones.
3D browser games are generally less performant than running natively, and as you noticed unfortunately chrome is faster than firefox. The game still runs ok on my 2016 thinkpad with an igpu, though I have to turn off the vhs shader and drop the render scale to 0.5x.
