Yeah I feel like console manufacturers are stuck with the bill on this one. It would probably be best for everyone if all of the manufacturers decided to skip a generation and just stick it out with what they’ve got currently for an extra five years or so, it’s not like the graphics are going to get appreciably better if they update anyway.

Wouldn’t be the first time a generation was heavilly delayed due to economic hardship.

Visuals since the PS4 generation have only improved marginally unless we spend $1000-3000 on hardware.
Game developers should limit themselves to PS4 level visuals to keep costs down and to have their games run well on hardware most people can afford.
