My parents’ computers that i “upgraded” to 11 still use 8 gigs of ram. Perhaps they’re just very light pc users but i still haven’t heard them complain about any issues, so i haven’t looked at upgrading the ram tbh. But yeah the amount of ram windows uses just to run idle is insane.
