All countries have a political interest in showing themselves as better, though. I’m aware enough of China’s history to know that your allegations are just that, allegations.
They do but most countries have a means of tracking national suicide rates. China intentionally doesn’t and this is a repeated pattern with the country’s healthcare reporting.
We simply can’t even argue about it because the data is unavailable. So this claim is also unverifiable.
