Our politicians refuse to provide basic services, but they’ll let us buy guns through the mail and violently shit our pants. These are the problems you get in a failed state.
You can’t just buy any gun you want and have it sent to you in the mail, no questions asked. If anyone out there thinks this is possible, I encourage you to try it and see how far you get.

What the article criticizes is the proposal of the Trump administration to get rid of that process and do in fact allow mail ordering firearms. They’re proposals at this point, but it’s still worth talking about so it doesn’t fly under the radar.
