Apparently upset someone enough saying democrat hakim Jeffries is just the same as Republicans for negotiating with kushner to get that user or user to direct others at me to unleash downvoting bots or alt accounts to downvote everything I comment now.
Example is 3 accounts with no activity lately or just created within the last week on multiple instances.
There a way to deal with this or just an annoyance that is part of the fediverse?

You don’t deal with them. If the numbers get you upset, you can disable downvotes in account settings. It’s just a client side thing, though. It will only hide the downvotes from you.
It’s not the numbers it’s the principles of wanting to have something done to assholes.
