No, 200 x 12 is 2400, or 2.4K annually (if we don’t factor in 90% of deaths and calculate it as 180 x 12). You’re off by a factor of 10. Covid deaths are 60% as common as drowning using that math, not 600%.
Drowning kills over 4,000 people per year in the U.S. — that’s 20× more than 200.
