A revolution/counter revolution is almost always bloody though, so if there’s a way to resolve things somewhat without bloodshed first, then that’s the path that should always be taken before we start signing up people to die in a revolutionary civil war.
There isn’t another path. Revolutions generally can be bloodless, like the October Revolution, the ensuing civil war was the bloody factor. We can learn from that and do better.
