People you consider as parents/siblings/uncles/aunts despite not being on your official family tree.
For me:
-A community on Discord. We know each other since years and they know some things even my own mother ignore.
-My sister’s own friends.
Yet to find them, unfortunately.
My siblings, their partners and kids. A couple of friends I met while studying, my best friend and her family amd then my boyfriend and his family.
I am counting my siblings because our parents have tried to keep us separated with malicious lies for many years and we are finding our ways back to one another now.
I do not speak to my parents anymore.
An old friend of my parents is very much like an aunt to me.
A few of my friends I’ve known for decades and who have truly proven loyal and full of unconditional love I would consider as close as my brothers.
