      Yea but the standard is that slower traffic keeps right, we don’t have to block the entire roadway left to right

      The only case where bikes should be the entire road is if its an official event with road closures to accomodate

            IN my many many decades I’ve never seen anything but police match speed and drive abreast to become a rolling barricade…and that was only to bring traffic to a halt due to an accident up a head.

              This isn’t a rolling barricade it’s just a critical mass of cyclists. When there’s enough car traffic to bring travel to a crawl we don’t call it a rolling barricade we just call it throughput capacity.

              I used to do that during stop and go traffic, after I saw a couple semis doing it. If you can gauge the average speed of traffic and smooth out the irregularities, everyone gets there at the same time, but we all have a much more relaxed drive.

              Now I ride a motorcycle so I can simply go around/between traffic.

        That is strictly an interstate highway standard. This is a local stroad in Florida. Keep right unless passing does not apply here.

      They don’t have the fucking right to be a rolling barricade by blocking the entire road for everything behind them.

      Jesus christ, the amount of hysterical overreaction and rage in response to daring to suggest the cyclists should keep right and not block everything for everyone, like slow traffic is supposed to do, is patently ridiculous.

      The group cycling standrad is every 2 together, and at the end a relay protection car behind the whole group. Even if they were 60 or 100 they can still ride in 2s and only take 1 side of the road.

      Also, ffs these twats ware doing it for sports… go to a gym, jerk off at home, or block 1 lane , or 2 at worst if the road allows it. Why block the whole road… shit like this is not even acceptable in protests let alone wankers in expensive carbon-fiber rides playing a hobby or sport games.
