The Trump regime is preparing sweeping sanctions against the International Criminal Court (ICC) in an attempt to destroy the world’s highest criminal court. The move is Donald Trump’s latest move to defend wanted Israeli war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu.
The sanctions would ban a majority of financial transactions with the court, isolating it from the US dollar and — if the global banking system capitulates as expected — from that too. Trump is expected to make a final decision during this week’s UN General Assembly gathering in New York City.
Trump has already abused US financial power to sanction the ICC president, judges and former chief prosecutor Karim Khan, as well as engineering Khan’s removal from his post, despite judges finding no evidence against him in sexual harassment allegations.
The US has previously said it would dismantle the ICC if it did not drop its charges against Netanyahu and other Israelis who have committed crimes against humanity.
First of all, Eichmann and Mengele were NOT part of Operation Paperclip. Eichmann was later captured in Argentina, shipped back to Israel, and executed. Mengele got away, unfortunately, and drowned in 1979, but he didn’t escape through Paperclip. Perhaps YOU are the one who knows nothing about history. I have a degree in history, and a lifetime of learning, but I’ll admit that I am still learning every day.
Nuremburg tried a relative few, because it mostly focused on the High Command, and most were sentenced to death, but there were thousands of Nazi executions across Germany, following the war. So many Nazis were executed that the actual number is unknown, but it is in the thousands.
Concentration Camp guards and administration were often executed on the spot. The Dachau prisoner riot is famous. Immediately upon liberation, many prisoners beat guards to death with shovels. Allied soldiers began lining up guards against a wall, and shot them.
Many other Nazi soldiers across Germany were captured trying to escape, and immediately executed, following a quick military hearing. A favorite method was a short drop hanging, in which the drop isn’t long enough to snap the neck, so the person dangles, and slowly strangles to death.
Some got away with it, MANY did not.
