Socialism is the dispersion of power across a group, ya know, like democracy. Capitalism is the concentration of power into a hierarchy. That’s really all the fearmongering is about. They can’t sit at the top of a hierarchy that doesn’t exist. They can’t build the hierarchy if we have our needs met already.
And yet, the capitalists STILL try to threaten you that those things that are ALREADY HAPPENING will happen if you support socialism or communism.

I guess, but TbF many places have slipped into unadulterated fascism. Markets are highly manipulated. Just as communists complain that all failed communism wasn’t really communism, a capitalist could rightly complain this isn’t really capitalism.
That might be true if words had no meaning, but fortunately for us, they do! A communist society is a society that is moneyless, classless, and stateless. Given that most so-called “communist” revolutions ended up seizing state power instead of abolishing it, it’s no wonder why they all failed to achieve communism.
On the flip side, capitalism is an economic system where the means of production are privately owned. There is disagreement on whether fascism constitutes it’s own economic system, but the fact remains that it has historically emerged from capitalist states in crisis.

Fascism and Capitalism are not opposed. Much rather, fascism is born from capitalist countries, where the owning class controls the media and the government.
Manipulation of markets is also not contradictory to capitalism. The markets are manipulated by capitalists after all.
Finally, the past has proven, that capitalism doesn’t need fascism to create crises.
This is circular. Communist ideals have also degraded to militant authoritative states. I’m not beating a Pro-capitalist drum, but this concept that theres a clearly superior ideology is so reductionist and boring.
I believe you are thinking of Marxist-Leninist ideals. They call themselves communist, but they believe that they can bring about a stateless society (communism) by seizing state power, which is deranged. You cannot achieve a goal through actions that are opposed to said goal.
the thing is, i can tell you what real communism is: internationalism, where nobody is other-ed by another person. nobody is exploited for another person to relish in their accomplishments. imagine strangers as distant cousins, long lost siblings even and meet them with a real smile.
