    You can always go with, “They’re bad for developing brains and bodies.”

    The earlier you start drinking, smoking, or doing drugs the easier it is to find yourself dependant on them as you won’t develop healthy coping habits or find healthy ways to enjoy your spare time.

        It’s better than telling them nothing at all

        And if your kids have grown to trust you and value your opinions then they’ll listen

        Better than the 80s/90s method of “drugs bad, mmmkay? They ruin your life” and then proceed to ruin the drug user’s life.

        I started drinking when I was 12, it started quite the struggle with addiction in my life.

        I’ve been sober now for 4 years.

        It took 4 attempts to get sober and stay with it but I’ll never drink again.
