This is in the de-militarized, PA not Hamas run West Bank. My govt, the US, still militarily supports them with the money and arms to do this. This also includes bulldozing and bombing important Christian sites/schools as well as other religions.

Yes, it is important to kill those kids so the next generation of terrorists never grows up. /s
Or they are also a country that has experienced genocide and also has countrymen facing religious persecution in Jerusalem just for being Christian on a daily basis
Heartbreaking photo
No, but most of what they are quoting is from a major Israeli newspaper. This was out several days ago, but didn’t get picked up here in the states.
Yeah, I bet it’s upsetting that there willl be less kids starving to death and your money has to support it. Just feel good knowing that the US will spend billions on bombs. I know it is less fun to bomb kids than watch them slowly starve, but it at least is something right?
There was a sale that Biden bypassed Congress on Dec 29th or 30th. It still takes time to deliver so probably they still received stuff in February but definitely January so within the last month or so for sure.
That was noted as it was above the billions in military aide given annually that are already budgeted. We can still give them that close to 4 billion in aide without announcing as it is already in the budget so yes, we are probably still in February and March giving them aide as it is in our budget (I don’t like it, but say our as I am a US citizens).
Hopefully Andy Ogles, representative who said kill them all, and Biden are happy their policy of no ceasefire is getting their desired result.
And now reports of children starving to death are happening.
It’s painful that we are allowing this. In 1988, the US, Britain, and Israel were still fighting the UN to stop sanctions against the ruling South African government and suppling weapons and surveillance systems to continue to repress the indigenous people. Times haven’t changed.
Of course the holocaust happened. So did slavery in the US, genocide of Armenians and several others, and Apartheid in South Africa. Those do not mean that Apartheid and Genocide are not happening now in Palestine. All are true. There are Jewish only roads and cities, there is a political group called Jewish power, and the current government is well right of Trump. This is not normal or ok.
John Kirby, White House spokesman, just said that Israel is doing a better job at protecting civilians than even the US military.
Nothing says democracy like non-freedom of the press.
This is not an individual event. People get beaten and harassed trying to get to Easter service, they refuse checkpoint crossing so people can’t make holy day services, shot people at churches, bombed churches. I mean this is a state based on a single religious superiority, you don’t think they harass and discriminate other religions? Christians don’t have the same rights as other groups, it is a known thing.
How people still defend the IDF as the good guys is beyond me.
Different religion but from the same area, Jain ascetics are the ones I am most familiar with that would fit more what you might have been wondering about.
There are multiple monastic traditions of shunning all material things, some of which include housing.
This is I believe the third verified example of this I have seen, one were Israeli hostages. One time is a mistake, this is not. This is the same country that has a directive that will order the military to kill their own citizens.
Usually the US could just bully through for them. This time South Africa stood up. Erdogan has plenty of blood on his hands but also is a NATO country and stood up. The most interesting thing is how they felt so confident the US would squash anything, they said the quiet part out load and have made South Africa’s case very compelling.
And this is just what the US media is reporting….
