That’s what I was thinking. Just some minor amount to make senders do a cost benefit analysis.

Making email free was a mistake. Makes sense to encourage early adoption but long term it’s been a no-lose proposition for spammers, phishing, and general aggressive marketing.

Are there “burner sims” you can get nowadays that don’t require online activation (i.e. they can easily trace the sim back to you)?

If you look at broad based EU markets vs the S&P over the last year they grew about twice the rate.

Trump and other dictators are vain (uh, reviving an outdated class of naval ship and naming it after yourself sound familiar?) so they’ll prefer bombers, tanks, and rockets over some little robots with little propellers. They disdain things that look weak regardless of their usefulness.

If it’s OU, ‘no college’ is better.

I don’t know if it’s ever been tested but I’m sure Castle Doctrine is completely nullified when law enforcement is involved.

Not common I’m sure, but I once had an answer I posted completely rewritten for grammar, punctuation, and capitalization. I felt so valued. /s

The heavy use of slow motion kind of ruined it for me a little bit. If it was symbolic in some way my unsophisticated brain didn’t get it.

I probably got a lemon but regardless my XPS (~3 years old) is the worst computer I’ve ever owned. Touchy WiFi, battery that goes from 30 to 3℅ in a matter of seconds, randomly doesn’t detect the keyboard, randomly freezes, randomly doesn’t acknowledge it’s plugged in. Some days I just put it in timeout and use my 10yo netbook instead.

Dredd. The movie was only so-so but it was a really good setup for a sequel. Karl Urban also knocked it out of the park. The Stallone version was good for what it was but it didn’t really feel like Judge Dredd.

For pure energy efficiency it’s hard to beat an SBC (raspi, rockpi). Mine does a good job with Jellyfin streaming so long as I avoid transcoding.

Not the worst idea (the phone) but that is an extra device to keep track of. I would also get in trouble for plugging a phone (or some kind of drive) into my work computer so that means another cable run from an outlet…

I’m not able to install most apps without prior approval but if there’s a website I can directly play from that could work. Would be preferable if I didn’t have to login to use it but it’s probably not a deal breaker. Big names like Spotify are a no-go mainly because they suck ass.

“Fuck you mom!”
Then walk out and never speak to her again.

Jack in the Box Ultimate Cheeseburger. It just pummels your tastebuds with fat and I like it.

Also your reputation. I had a Crucial SSD and was days from getting an identical one as a backup but then they said they were stopping consumer RAM sales so they’re now on my blacklist.

If you live in a region that snows seasonally then I’d say knitting. It can be a very therapeutic activity and when my wife wears her own knits she’s never cold. Knitted gear can also make great gifts and if you’re good enough it can earn some money on Etsy.

This is definitely a thing.
Cost and price are two different things. Insulin is cheap to make but people die from not being able to afford the sticker price.
