  • I switched from Windows to Mint. Best thing I ever did for myself as It’s extremely user friendly.

Is it the best choice for you? That depends on what you’re looking for in Linux.

Personally I was just fed up with Microsoft and all the corporate shenanigans. But I’m too old and dumb to learn how to properly utilize Linux (not gonna kid myself on that front), and Mint has proven a great “Baby’s First Linux” for me.

  • I’d say I’m fairly patient. It does depend on the title and how it’s handled.

If I heard Tim Cain & Leonard Boyarsky was spearheading a new Fallout, I’d be hard pressed not to buy on release.

If, however, the game is exclusive in anyway, timed or otherwise, it’s instantly blacklisted and I refuse to buy it at all. (I have an array of chips on my shoulders, I know)

But other than that specific scenario, I can wait for a good sale, no problem.

  • Addendum: It’s called “The Tadpole” and is likely a modular device akin to the seatruck and is theorized to be able to switch between different modules and basically lock into being a Prawn Suit, Seatruck or Cockpit in a bigger Submarine.

Just speculation of couse. But it would seem a likely route as Unknown Worlds was already testing out the modular concept in BZ.
