It looks like the inner curtain isn’t bunched up. My guess would be the curtains were to the left and the cat bunched up the outer curtain at the end.

Looks like 9 folds about 4" long each so maybe 2-3 ft wide windows if these are single curtains. Usually this style is double though so it could be half a wider window. Also I think that’s the corner of the window frame near the cats tail.

Under the cats neck you can see the support. I think they’re usually listed as double curtain rod systems

I think actually in the US you could file the gold under capital gains and get a better tax rate if you’re willing to hold onto it for years.

Though outside the US the USD are probably a wiser choice. Also if you plan on liquidating the gold immediately its likely subject to sales tax where they exist making it a much worse value proposition.
