flip top stainless growler, get a bunch of extra gaskets and rotate them. I put them in the dishwasher in the cutlery tray that has a lid to keep things from flying out, then boil them submerged under a stainless trivet to get any smells out.

the bottles I just use soap and a brush and if it smells like anything after that then PBW or oxy powder.

bottles with straws, slide seals, the other type of flip lid, hollow lids, etc will inevitably have unwashable areas that will get nasty.

I’m not big on the sharp looking corners but everthing else feels “now we’re talking”-y. eGPU support sounds really cool for making a docking station, down facing usb is appealing for that too. More than two underside buttons would be nice and a headset jack (as opposed to just headphones) would be nice though

if you want to be super cursed I’ve seen people replicate several of the windows UIs with desktop environment themes

WiVRn from quest app store, wivrn desktop app. I also needed xrizer nightly for secondary gun mode to work in half life alyx. Can’t guarantee much else though since I only really play beat saber.

its so slow that it feels worse than a gen 1 iphone. even with a super stripped down alpine based os it’s unbearable even just making calls or text and not using any software beyond basic phone apps.

If my deck can’t handle a game('s lack of optimization) I move to desktop. Or if it’s a visual artsy game I play on desktop. The most egregious fsr glorpination in recent memory was water in horizon forbidden west. When I first saw the beaches I thought it looked like utter shit but when I switched to actual rendering it was suddenly one of the best video game beaches ever.

But yeah basically everything that moves looks like shit, and anything bigger than a steam deck display makes it easier to tell something is fucked. I’ll check out fsr 4 but I don’t have high expectations.

its my favourite spider-man/hulk type game. other titles like prototype and game I can’t remember the name of just felt like spider-man with non marvel characters but gravity rush actually felt like something new. I spent a good chunk of time rolling around in a ball on the floor using the vita motion controls. I also still have a ptsd reaction from the lava area music and how cursed of the lava area was.

and while gravity rush 2 had a kinda mediocre ending and the server shutdown prevented getting all the costumes, the end of the intro sequence blew me away.

is it a different situation than the lcd model? there are patches for ram increase and different display that can be applied to the lcd model but you have to disable auto update and manually install patched updates though I’m pretty sure there haven’t been any recent ones

honestly as much as I liked the recent god of war and spider-man games I’d sacrifice all of them and ff7 remakes for gravity rush on pc
