Welp, I guess we’re never buying any playstation anything in the future. We’ve /already/ lost access to any digital games for our PS4 we don’t already have downloaded, because we’d have to update the console to redownload them and that would make it unhackable. And like… the physical games is the literal ONLY REASON to go console for us. If there’s no advantage to going console and we don’t own our games anyway, and might get locked out of them at any time with a system update, why not just buy everything on Steam?

Funnily enough, it can spoof its version so IT has no problem going online! We can even buy legit digital games on a hacked console.
(hey Sony, consider: if you lock hacked-console people out of buying games because you block them from PSN, they HAVE to pirate if they’re not going physical)
