Well before the UK online ID laws, I saw some memes about people getting asked for ID as proof of age for NSFW servers, just to send to server admins. I figured it was a ID fraud scheme of some sort, but now I’d chalk it up to manic “protect the children” believers.
Have you seen the USA? UK? Russia? China? I really don’t want the government making any system to tie internet to any identity. I really don’t want any government having any role in the internet.
So if we ever take back this country, we’ve gotta destroy Palantir, Apple, Google, Meta, Disney, Microsoft, Amazon, CVS (working to compile a medical database on all USAmericans)… and every company that backed Trump’s Nazi campaign. Start making a list now. The corporations alone will be a life’s worth of work.
think of the children!!! :< :< :< :< :<
And the “Tea” app leak happened right before these age-verification rules started popping up everywhere. It’s obvious cause and effect, but it was also demonstrated RIGHT before.
Don’t put your hand on a hot stove, especially after watching someone burn their hand on that hot stove.
what’s that? Nintendo’s supporting the Department of Homeland Security? I’m enraged. These woke devs putting politics in our games! I’m never buying another Nintendo product again! (If enough of us say it, maybe we can pressure Nintendo to sue?)
I’m genuinely unsure whether having Vance or Trump as president would be worse. I’m not sure whether Trump’s incompetency is saving or dooming us more.
It’s a society problem. I grew up in a middle-class suburb. Absolutely no one played outside. Kids were booked from the end of school until dinner with structured “activities” that were just college resume points. None of the 15 kids on my block would have been able to join a game of “soccer” or throw a frisbee, because they were booked full-time from the age of 8. People need to let kids explore and entertain themselves.
oh, yeah, of course Musk’s companies go on there… and I saw a few things about Oracle’s surveillance efforts.
