i am using pipepipe right now and it works just fine. you probably need an update. if pipepipe is bugged, check the bug reports on the github. I’d bet someone has reported it already.
i have both pipepipe and newpipe installed, but I feel that pipepipe actually tends to be a bit better about actually fixing bugs (not related to youtube connection issues. things like UI issues, etc.)
if neither work well when updated, freetube has an android version you can always try.

oh man I loved my n95. it had its own T9 software that was amazing as well. and I actually miss typing with it at times. it was very fast.

i always make sure to check for new versions when I notice something is going wrong. and if there’s no new versions of pipepipe or freetube, I check the bugs users have reported.
9/10 someone has already reported it and they’re working on it.
don’t lose hope! google are weirdos. just be patient and support the devs who work very hard to fix things. 😊

i upgraded to using Joplin from my old notes app that was not as robust.
i absolutely love Joplin and it’s really great for organization as well.

listen I’m just gonna put this out there. i still am using a oneplus 8t and it is fantastic and I have zero plans of upgrading anytime soon. it runs everything I need it to with zero hiccups. even emulators run beautifully.
i highly recommend looking at older models as they’re extremely feature rich and much less expensive than these new flagships they keep putting out.
oneplus was meant to be one of the “flagship killer” type companies and now its just as annoying and pricey as the rest. I’d suggest looking at older models if you’re dead set on Oneplus, or I’d suggest something like fairphone.
