You probably are having issues due to it being immutable. Its not impossible to get around but in your circumstance you might not want an immutable distro. Firstly the is Bazzite DX which is the development centric version of Bazzite. Id use that if you do development firstly and gaming secondly. Lab grown meat is sort of a thing too. Its a good opportunity to cut down on natural meat production though i assume there are many other things used from a body that will still needed but maybe can be made effectively synthetically

Im not wholly knowledgeable on UBI but I imagine you can still make money on top of the basic income. Like as an artist you can still sell works, do commissions and whatnot you just dont have to stress nearly as much about covering the basics when works dont sell and there are gaps in customers. You still can have savings and the like. Best cases at some point housing would be cheap enough that one could realistically buy a house outright with good financial planning instead of it being owned by a bank

Absolutely. I switched to Bazzite and it is everything I wanted from the switch. So painless. I have yet to find a game I want to play that wont play. Im using a 3080, nobara and bazzite have worked flawlessly for me so far though im semi active in the bazzite community and a few people have varying issues with nvidia from what ive seen. Usually the issues are a little more edge case like game streaming but with a particular set up

So in the earlier game there was a lot of sub plot. If you’re familiar with the game theorists they did go a bit overboard about it but they dove deep looking into the clues of said sub plot and it was just good listening material. I dont play the games, I like to watch playthroughs and then video essays about its lore

My biggest issue with shorts as someone whos watched them is they very often leave out a lot of context or very important information. Shorts are just an evolution of clickbait titles or inflammatory headlines in my opinion. Theres some that are really good but the primary nature of shorts means your exposed to all types not just good ones.
