You should try GrayJay. You can get your YouTube and PeerTube subscriptions in the same feed. Along with a dozen other platforms.
Where is the social aspect?
Cool, thanks!
I know what OSM is, thank you. I don’t use apps for a variety of reasons. I spent good money on a bike computer for that.
What do you call these?
How do you have a “community” without any social aspect?
I can’t even see it on a map? All I can see is a white line. Seems like it could be a good product to integrate into another platform.
How do you record with that? Is there some sort of hardware integration?
I mean at a minimum I would like to see what type of activity and an interactive map of the activity, as well as a way to engage with and FILTER content.
Anything in addition to that would just be a bonus: sharing and exploring routes, any kind of health data I can log, integrations with hardware from Garmin, Wahoo, Shimano/Hammerhead, etc.
For now I’m implementing activity logging, sharing of activities in groups
Probably would be a good idea to call them “clubs”, similar to Strava.
Why do you have a bunch of dog walkers added to your feed?
Because they’re my friends, and because they post other activities as well.
This looks like a bunch of random activity logs. Where is the social aspect?
How do you get your DS games on the monitors?
It’s not really 10x unless you’re comparing to something like an N100 mini PC
I assume most people running a dedicated personal server are using that or something similar. In the case of RPi or similar SBC it will be even more.
Yes, it’s really true.
The lawsuit applies to customers who bought HP desktops, laptops, mice or keyboards advertised as being discounted for more than 75% of the time between June 5, 2021 and October 28, 2024.
One of the examples given was a $999.99 HP All-in-One machine bought by a plaintiff in September 2021. It was advertised as having $100 off, marked at $899.99, however it had been sold at that lower price since April 2021.
I think I’d recommend having at least 2 PCs. Your gaming PC is going to be terribly inefficient and draw 10x as much power at idle as a server with a mobile processor. Leaving it running 24/7 will get expensive to the extent that buying a dedicated server makes more sense. Plus if your gaming/work PC ever crashes while you’re working, your server will crash as well.
Also if you ever work outside the home you probably want to have something that doesn’t require a network connection.
You can get Yunohost set up with a single command.
You’re also assuming that buying a game on PC steam will also give you a license to play that game on android, which isn’t a given.
It wasn’t an assumption it was hypothetical.
But the ZimaBoard has OSFP?
That doesn’t really cover it though. I mean look at all the people Musk has banned that have nothing to do with hate speech.
Your podcasts are already hosted on another server. Why bother duplicating them if they’re not local?
Yes, discoverability is probably the single biggest problem on PeerTube. If you can be bothered you can post/search the PeerTube community for some suggestions that might match your interests.
