that sounds really rough to grow up with and live with for so long. i think I have some sort of mental processing issues. my partner will try to explain something she wants help with and will often have to draw me a picture or take me to the space she’s talking about so i can understand what she’s talking about.

this might be the way to go for now until things get more stable. i didn’t know that was an option, but i’m gonna look into it!

my first day of eighth grade (read: long ago) i was walking to my bus stop when i was struck by an automobile. it was a cool morning and the high schooler who was driving was running late (speeding, didn’t defrost his windshield, probably distracted). i went flying into a puddle at the end of a neighbor’s driveway. he kept driving, claimed he thought he hit a mailbox. probably the most fucked up part was the cop on the scene blaming me for walking on the right-hand side of the road. apparently I was supposed to know better. so, yeah, acab and fuck cars.

birds have been on the decline for decades.

so to sum up, populations of insects that feed on/harm trees are growing and more able to complete their life cycles given the warmer winters. i don’t really subscribe to the philosophy of hobbes, but this makes me think of the road and how there were just no more trees. would be a brutish existence indeed never to hear a bird sing again nor find shade beneath the branches of a towering oak.
