Yes I’ve been there. China is actually awesome, incredibly friendly people, lots of culture and great work ethic, amazing food. Alas, the other end is much worse: there are no personal freedoms. There’s no internet. There’s an incredible selfishness forced into the psyche of Chinese people by the incredibly unjust opression. All that just makes you wonder how amazing free China would be.

It could always be worse. In much of Asia the standard work week is still 6 days per week. In China for example it’s often 9-9-6 which is 9am to 9pm 6 days per week.
