Last time I hate the patience to soldier through a sad attempt at playing this game felt more like buying some next gen bike, but getting the chassis that looks like the bike I ordered, but had tech from 10 years ago and every time you try to park it in your garage, both wheels fall off.

I don’t get it. Why do people buy connected appliances, then complain about them being connected? Last year I bought all my appliances from AEG and none of them are connected, they are pretty good and they run based on button programming.

I use OpenBank and they also provide their own nfc payments app on Android. It’s not a great piece of software, but it works and it successfully replaces Google Wallet for at least this part ( it keeps unselecting your card after every update).

I’ve been using an iPhone for the past 6 months or so, an older iPhone 12 Pro my wife used until she upgraded to the 16 Pro. I can’t say too many bad things about the os itself, since it feels like a walled garden android and the software quality is actually worse on IPhone, but it might be the aging chip on it.

I can’t wait to go back to Android though, because of all the reasons you mentioned.

This is the one true CachyOS description. The distro has been gaining so much traction based on naive interpretations of what performance is.

It’s not a bad distro, but its advantages are minimal over others. Whatever linux people pick, it will be fine.
