Well, if thanks to this we finally get open office to figure whatever tricks MS used to get documents to render fully correctly ONLY in office, consider me in.

Right… I meant like which specific file.

I was just thinking how I love my Logitech anywhere 3S. I have several devices, and this thing pairs up to three separate ones with no issues. Connection is immediate and it never fails to connect. It has no meaningful lag, and the battery lasts me so long I don’t remember how many months ago I charged it.
It’s nothing too fancy, but it really accomplishes its tasks well.

What do you love about it? My NAS is set on the old classic RAID5+ext 4. Nothing too safe, but i guess it has worked well for me all these years.

What are the most successful/useful distillations you can run locally?

Nah. The conservatives have been waiting to pounce. They’re already at banning from voting descendants of Spanish emigrants, and they already started claiming the mail in vote will be a fraud.

There’s already a lot of issues on how each manufacturer is implementing WiFi 7. And several of the issues are a hardware level, so I very much doubt they’ll be able to implement anything via firmware for wifi 8.

I just install 10 LTSC on the computers I REALLY need windows on. The updates have no new features at this point, just security. I don’t use it too much, but it’s just less obnoxious than 11.

The first last of us is my first, IMHO. But Silent Hill 2 really is a very close second.

I don’t think the level of fuckups of W10 back in the day was this insane. And if it was, we could agree Microsoft has an endemic problem with releasing undercooked software. At any rate, comparison or not, they need to get a proper QA team, yesterday.

Ahhh Call Of Duty, rewriters of historic war crimes…

The way i understand it, what Google did in Android is no joke, and definitely very hard to implement on a small team that basically works on just fine tuning your existing code. Birthing all this onto Linux is quite an undertaking, and it would need hardware partnership agreements.

Except a specific image format, I’m not sure which one. But on certain specific images, the whole app hangs for a couple of seconds, and then crashes.

I don’t think it is and it sucks because I’m so used to swipe to go back.

What’s the difference between Openstreetmap and Graphene’s geocoder? I have the later, i think it’s the default.
And yeah, ditto for me, I’ve been using comaps until now, but being able to search shops without resorting to the full invasion of gmaps is neat indeed.

If you use live traffic re-checks, it pings google every few minutes, providing your updated position. And when it’s off, I think it still sends Google your initial position and route? But I’m not sure that can be turned off completely.

Clearly the French have their priorities straight.

Croissants clearly need to be before any meager restaurant or coffee shop.
Yeah but it will be a Linux VM running within android, being android the primary os monitoring and controlling everything else. I doubt it will be a de-googled android.
I can easily boot the Linux VM on mine, it’s a google feature. But it’s controlled by google, and they set the limits. AFAIK there’s no easy way to get a desktop output.
