Iirc correctly, those are just the Linux native ones. A game doesn’t have to be native to play just fine on Linux though.
I just played through Dying Light as well and is absolutely why I thought of this!

Linux Mint here. I have had only 1 issue with a game on Linux and honestly, it was an easier fix then getting some games working on Windows which I have experienced plenty of as well. Linux really is just as easy as “Install from Steam, play”.
Drivers are easy now today too, just like Windows. Honestly, if you gamed on Windows, you have all you need to game on Linux.
You know when you are in the middle of a game’s story and then you get caught or something wjd the enemy takes all your gear and you have to find your gear or fight to get it back? No screw that. So annoying.
And I’m the kind of player that does all sise quests before doing the main story so I can be OP and plow through the story. Just let me do that and don’t take what I worked hard to get.

I use NVIDIA on Linux and nothing no issues or performance hits

Linux is the only viable solution to this mess. And no it is not as scary as it seema
Looks up my alley! Thanks!

Mint is a good jumping off point

Going to try thumb key thanks to this thread and see how it goes. Seems like a steep learning curve but I dig the concept of it. Wrote this (slowly) in it.

Fuck setting a reminder, go nuclear.

I block any of these idiots I see on steam and my block lost is over 2000 now…

Every. Single. Time.
It was so unconvincing I switched to Linux

I sure fucking hope so but I also doubt it

Made the jump to Linux. No issues so far, very happy with the switch
