Get yourself a secondhand Thinkpad from office surplus. There seem to be an abundance of T480. Keep in mind the series newer than the 80s are not as well built and servicable.

I tried having them with the pile of blank DVDs I got home, and it wasn’t as fun as I remembered. I was hoping that it was due to some faulty hardware, but if that is indeed true, then that shows the unpracticality of this method with how error prone it is.

thank god, no. some don’t seem to grow out of it, but thankfully most are reasonable, at least to some extent.

I got this idea by actually owning one. I abused the fuck out of that thing, and it lasted half of my childhood.

They should’ve picked Playstation. Those things are near indestructable.
