I like to interpret the flow of imagination as a river that has impressions in it. I can play with that at will, be precise and specific or just observe what passes by, zoom out to a broader view. There is energy where is concentration. But if I am tired or bored and have to do repetitious tasks, it can be very distracting to dream away and I think this is important to consider for people that are creative. Many are diagnosed with ADHD or other conditions when they just haven’t found out enough about themselves.
I have seen aphantasia mentioned many times but don’t forget about hyperphantasia

I have asked every doctor and professor I now and they all say this is nothing but the truth.

Our client had thin clients that where managed via a controller over pxe. We replaced the hyperv with vm’s in the cloud and they didn’t want to buy new PCs. So we got them small SSDs instead and I set up a debian image with autologin and a script that asks for credentials to launch xfreerdp in fullscreen. It worked great (until they finally got new hardware).
I can give you some of the code next week if you want.

Obsidian was a game changer for me. I just paste all the stuff, make a tag and forget about it until it is needed. For those not using it, there are dozens of plugins and unlimited options for customization. I have a standard daily note with timestamps and changelog over the whole vault and sqlite-like queries that manage dynamic dataviews.
Yea, I wanted to try hyprland because of a video about omarchi, but it didn’t take long before I heard about DHH’s ideas.
