why dont we make these same games for… hear me out: systems that are currently available and supported?

it helps that linux can now run almost everything else now instead of almost nothing. the main thing is we have options now.
thank you based valve & community btw
do you think i want to use facebook or linkedin or the likes?
i use them with an adblocker. best balance to me.
exactly why i dont mind blocking ads.
not a business model i wouldnt mind not supporting and companies i wouldnt mind not depending on.
and it is used for nefarious political purposes that are undemocratic at best.
ublock origin has a few lists named “annoyances” or something that arent enabled by default.
enabling them gets rid of almost all of the popups and i cant live without it anymore.
this includes cookie nags and all the miscellaneous stuff they throw at you.
we pay with our data already
the internet is insufferable without it, and many people (including some IT people) seem to not even mind it. it blows my mind.
elementaryos is made for that sort of thing, its quite simple and friendly and you need to poke around it to get it to even be able to do more ‘advanced’ stuff. its among the most polished DEs ive seen design and user-experience wise.
and it is still linux so you can disable or otherwise restrict their user account from anything you don’t want them meddling with. like the settings app and stuff, try it out on a VM and you will get what i mean.
oh its based off of ubuntu lts so its solid
thats a loss tbh
i think id rather have the slightly worse option than to bother with accounts for every desktop app
cannabis does make you question authority and being told what to do
only when its illegal, because you start asking yourself what else they lied to you about.
i dont think this is an effect from the drug itself. the ‘creativity’ you get can go either way tbh.
No one smokes weed then gets overly horny.
yes they do lol
yup they are tightening their grip again
you can still pirate games without getting malware, even if a little late.
its always been for the clout in the scene. but ive been pirating shit for a couple of decades now, no malware so far.
they can make intricate folding devices now.
but making them repairable is somehow fucking impossible.
unless you only buy no-DRM and your own backups
or you straight up pirate it.
you mean the nazi gang?
when i do a lot of them are fixed by just making it pretend to be chrome
ok ill have to agree with the cool factor. it is kinda cool getting a modern perspective for that era’s limitations (on that era’s platforms), id rather see that on a modern and accessible platform though like some of the games out there do.
