You should be able to see all the reports against you here: https://lemmy.world/modlog?page=1&actionType=All&userId=13046809
I observe two things about your comment.
These two points are at odds. I originally removed your comment, you didn’t like that, you sent me a DM, so I tried this approach.
If you were in my shoes, how would you resolve the conflict created by observations 1 & 2?
What is bullshit? Im open to criticism. I am open to conversations.
Mod here. This thread devolved and reports were flying around so now it’s gone.
It was kicked off with the above comment. rainrain asked a question. If we assume the best intentions, it is a reasonable question but it could be interpreted as being hostile.
Leraje did a good job answering the question in a kind way.
In general, please approach opposing ideas with curiosity not hostility. We are all on the same team, we are all working together to build a better internet.
No, but upon closer inspection the right one is probably a more faded version of the left one.
The middle is certainly different.
But they seem to do this in other colors, where they have two slightly different versions.
This is good.
It’s a shame that Europe did feel the need to compete with the US administration by gutting it’s auditing of sustainability https://www.esgtoday.com/eu-parliament-agrees-to-delay-sustainability-reporting-and-due-diligence-laws/
You right, you right
Or they are saying that there isn’t likely to be much trade anyway with such high tariffs.
“Given that American goods are no longer marketable in China under the current tariff rates, if the US further raises tariffs on Chinese exports, China will disregard such measures,”
That’s amazing that 10 years ago it was obvious… and here we are…

I’m a mod here. While it’s not one of my favorites, it does follow the format pretty well. I try to use Rule 1 sparingly.
It’s a bad look to shutdown critics. I think the votes and comments are doing a good job of bringing perspective to OP’s opinion.
You can block entire instances. You should be able to find it in the settings in your Lemmy app. I know Tesseract and Voyager let you edit it. I think you can also filter by keywords.
I moderate showerthoughts.
I certainly don’t know everything but I’m very sure I can’t edit other people’s posts.
If a post is questionable, then I try to message people and talk it out. We are all human.
Some people wish we moderated more aggressively to keep the post quality higher, others, like yourself wish there was less moderation. I try to leave things up unless there is an obvious violation, I try to apply the rules fairly, I am human.
When I saw the show Hamilton, George Washington was black, not sure if that’s always the case. It was a really good show.
Thank you. I also didn’t follow.
I agree.
I find the Teams app works great on Ubuntu. The Microsoft apps work OK in browser, until you have a lot of collaborators.
I rarely need to switch to windows, so when I do switch I expect to spend an hour doing updates.
Oh dang that’s creepy.
I think we are very much in agreement. I don’t read a lot of what goes on in Showerthoughts. I would rather let people sort out their differences. Several users reported the thread, meaning that they wanted a moderator to take action.
If someone prefers zero moderation then they will need to look outside of Lemmy.world.
