President Donald Trump’s attempt to deport pro-Palestinian activist Mahmoud Khalil marks one of Trump’s most egregious assaults on democratic liberties since taking office. Yet too many Democrats, particularly in party leadership, are responding to Trump in the most mealymouthed way possible. But this is a problem of Democrats’ own making: Their trepidation stems from their own history of repressing speech critical of Israel — and now we’re all at risk of paying the price for it.

I mean you’re not wrong, but what options were we presented with? It was always democrats or republicans for decades. The third party was always going to lose. What we needed was Bernie to win a primary, but I think we all know that was never going to be allowed.

Now we are going down the authoritarian government road China and Russia has been on for decades. Sounds like a shitty life for everyone but the rich.

Aside: My guess is Amazon announcing that Alexa would be monitoring all audio is just the start of the always-on monitoring China has with cameras in homes. I bet Trump will demand that everyone buy one, lol.
