I hate crunchy cookies. Chewy or death…or just no cookie I guess.
Crunchy cookies are only acceptable if they soften when dunked in milk.
I love all cookie textures. Idc.
Hear me out
Crunchy outside with chewy inside
Yes
I passionately disagree. Crunchy can be dunked
My fav dunking liquid is coffee. What’s yours?
Coffee! Although I will also dunk in tea
Tea is also a delicious dunking liquid!
Then it’s a biscuit (UK style).
I agree. Good topic for !biscuits@feddit.uk
That’s your opinion and it’s wrong
No.
False dichotomy. A cookie can be chewy without being melty.
I didn’t say chewy
Right, that’s their point. Chocolate chip cookies can be made to be chewy when cold instead of crunchy, in which case they’re still much better than crunchy chocolate chip cookies.
Agree to disagree.
Showerthoughts is just /c/unpopularopinion
What’s a melty cookie? Like temperature warm so the chocolate is melting?
I feel this in my core! Like this shit is legit resonating with me.
Why not both? Crunchy on the outside, chewy on the inside.Edit: wait what do you mean by melty cookie
i make cookies all the time and the key is to cook them for 2 minutes less than the recipe calls for because they’ll keep cooking when you take them out and they’ll be just the right about of gooey and soft <3
Crunchy is fine as long as there’s a generous amount of chunky chocolate chips.
my favorite is a crispy one that for some reason seemed associated with christmass.
