It’s easy to assume that the general population has the same knowledge you do, but just by being on Lemmy you’re likely way more informed than 99% of people. I see this mindset in the IT world all the time.

Because the vast majority of people don’t have any idea about Nintendo’s litigious nature.
It’s easy to assume that the general population has the same knowledge you do, but just by being on Lemmy you’re likely way more informed than 99% of people.
