*in Iceland. Context is important, because I am sure 20 degrees celsius is rookie numbers for Australian christmas temperatures for example.

I don’t know how anyone can have kids in good conscience in this day and age. Even us Millennials are going to get affected badly, let alone younger gens who are in for a total ecological collapse.

It was nearly 70° F (21° C) in Missouri, USA this Christmas. Usually, temperatures would be down in the 30s (-1° C).

Oh and then this last Sunday we went from so hot you could comfortably wear a t-shirt and shorts in the afternoon to overnight temps around 14° F (-10° C).

But sure, this is normal and not at all a concern.

No worries. In a few years the seasons are just gonna be: hot, slightly hot, death, slightly less death.

We aren’t going to last much longer as the dominant species.

I remeber the adults laughing at me because I told them that my environmental sciences professor proved in class that we are in one of the largest extinction events of our planet’s history. They laughed and downplayed the facts that I had learned because they felt a little uncomfortable.

Well i hope one day it clicks that none of this is ever returning to how it used to be.

For the rest of our lives, temperatures will be less stable, more animals will dissappear, more global conflicts as we fight for the scraps.

All of this pain and suffering and death and rot of the only life we know, just so a few thousand people get to pretend to be kings and stick their dicks in little girls.

I hate this reality, everyone who had the power to fix this and didn’t deserves to be skinned alive
