      The spirit of the rule is to keep the memes community from being a place for proselytizing one’s politics.

      So, for example, using a >50 year old event in a meme to show “this is why communism is bad” or “It’s like we’re all on the Titanic, because we’ve gotta watch out for ICE!” would both be rule-breaking, but something like “local man named Abe Lincoln refuses to go to theater” would be fair game.

    It’s amazing how many people are raging about the rules of a couple communities about no politics when I can count dozens of active communities who are political based.

    Everything’s over. I’m mentally drained. I just want to zone out and look at memes.

    /J /J /J /J Nooooooooooo, thats not fair! How come you Ban USA politics! how? how people will know stuff they already know or spam USA politics memes so they can fight even more in the comments! This is an atrocious Rule, made to push away USA based users! Poor USA citizens are being turned away! What will they post now? USA is a super power and Meta, Apple, Tesla and Amazon will talk to President so they can crash you! You can’t stop USA politics dude! This is a war, like the other wars USA started!
