          I do mono via injections and it’s worked out great for me. At the same time, injecting yourself isn’t easy, and it’s not a good idea to rely on others for your dose

            Even if you do mind needles, but are able to suffer through them, its cheap and lets you stockpile meds in case there’s ever an interruption to HRT supplies. Also, at around the 1.5 year mark, I realized I wasn’t nearly as anxious about the needles as I originally was (partly because I switched to smaller needles, so by comparison they don’t seem as bad to what I was already accustomed to enduring.
