A survey released Wednesday by the Federal Reserve Bank of New York found higher levels of food insecurity this year than during the summer of 2020, when the coronavirus outbreak sparked double-digit unemployment.

The New York Fed periodically asks Americans whether they’re having to skip meals, having to rely on food donations or receiving federal assistance to buy groceries. Replies from the most recent survey, in February, show hunger is a more pervasive problem now than at any time in the last six years.

Huh, imagine. Both things occurred under Pumpkinhead, a Repedopublican.

I’m trying to understand why anyone aches to put these guys in charge. I mean, W’s two terms both started and ended miserably - W started with dot-com bubble imploding, and rounded out with too-big-to-fail banks crashing, with Katrina and Iraq to top it off.

Unless you are in the upper 1% of 1% - then, I totally get it. Massive handouts to those guys.

But for everyone else - just why in the fuck would you want a Repedopublican running anything? Not one of them should ever be allowed into any office at any level.

The poors vote for them because they’re bigots and the richies vote for them because they’re bigots and corrupt. Like, even more corrupt than usual for politicians.
