There are literally hundreds of hotels in walking distance of The Plaza. Many are less than half the price. No one goes to the Plaza because it’s closer to where they are going.
Third of it are condos. Those that use it as a hotel more likely care about the location, not about rich old fucks of the past that used it before them.
