Flexo’s beard, when Bender wore one, was a magnet. But it did not force him to sink folk songs. And you can’t just say it was a small magnet, because Bender stuck a fridge magnet on himself and it atill caused him to sing. It could still work if Bender was just using the magnet as an excuse.
