It can be an efficient tool to create a base for further work. If is have to choose between a programmer slaving away for weeks or months to build a solid framework, or an ai doing it in a few hours, I’d pick the ai, since it uses less resources. The programmer is better applied at working out the kinks and specifics.
There is no good use for LLMs and media generation as a whole, because none of the possible uses justify the costs of making these tools.
Expert programs (patern recognition, protein folding, speech generation) on the other hand, go right ahead.
Edit : and you defenitely can’t write code with an expert programm…
I think those expert programs get labeled as ai anyway. Then the layman thinks they can just ask any llm “how do I cure cancer”
That’s the reason why i always make sure to separate the two.
